Jim Cummings

James Cummings is currently a senior advisor to Oliver Wyman Consulting, and the President of Building Homes for Heroes, Inc. As a military veteran Colonel Cummings served 24 years on active duty including positions at The White House on the National Security Council, as an executive assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff, multiple command positions, and various overseas deployments. While in command, he lead global cyber defense and offensive activities on behalf of the United States Air Force in direct support of various combat activities. Upon retirement, Jim held various cyber related consulting positions with Deloitte and Lockheed Martin, before joining JP Morgan Chase & Company as their Chief Security Officer. While holding this position, he was responsible for global physical and technical security, business continuity, investigations, executive aircraft, Military and Veteran Affairs, and cyber security for the firms 240,000 employees in 60 countries and within 6,600 facilities. In September 2017, Jim returned to San Antonio, Texas to be with his family and became the President of Building Homes for Heroes, non-profit organization providing mortgage free homes to severely injured military veterans.
