Honorable Tidal McCoy

Hon. Tidal W. McCoy is the Chairman of the Cyber and Space Transportation Association and former Managing Partner and Chairman at Washington Capital Partners, LLC which he founded in 1998. Hon. McCoy was the Founder and Vice Chairman of the George Washington National Bank. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President for Government Relations at Thiokol. From 1981 to 1989, Hon. McCoy held several Presidential-appointed positions within the government as an Acting Under Secretary and a Acting Secretary of the Air Force. He also served as an Assistant Secretary of the USAF for Readiness Support and an Assistant Secretary for Manpower Reserve Affairs and Installations, from 1981 to 1988. From 1979 to 1981, Hon. McCoy served as an Assistant for National Security Affairs to Senator of Utah and in 1977 served as the Scientific Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Engineering, and Systems. He was a Staff Assistant and later a Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of Defense from 1973 to 1977. Hon. McCoy served on the National Security Council staff at the White House, Executive Office of the President in 1973 and was a Member of the Long-Range Planning and Net Assessment Group in the office of the Secretary of Defense, from 1972 to 1973.

Mr McCoy serves on several corporate and non-profit Boards of Directors and is currently the Chairman of the Board of the Space Transportation Association of the United States and a Director at Raedel Financial Solutions Inc. Hon. McCoy served as a Combat Unit Commander in Germany and Vietnam and as an Intelligence Officer at DIA, CIA, and NSA. He is the recipient of numerous military and civilian awards, medals, and honors. Hon. McCoy holds a B.S. degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York in 1967 and a M.S. degree in Business Financial Management from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. in 1975.
